Softball Recap: Ocosta Wildcats vs. Wahkiakum Mules

The Ocosta Wildcats earned a 12-8 win over the Wahkiakum Mules on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Joanah Rosander was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only one walk, the fewest she's had since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gabby Ness, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Noel Cuzdey, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

The victory got Ocosta back to even at 2-2. As for Wahkiakum, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
