Kayme Elrod gave up the fewest walks she has since back in February on Thursday. She turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out eight batters over eight innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Elrod and Anson will take on Colorado on May 3. The Wolves will enter the matchup having just beaten Ozona, so the Tigers will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
