Soccer Recap: Upland Wins Going Away Against Rancho Mirage

Upland kept a clean sheet against Rancho Mirage on Monday. Everything went their way against the Rancho Mirage Rattlers as they made off with a 6-0 win. That six goal margin sets a new team best for the Highlanders/Scots this season.

Their offense was hitting Rancho Mirage from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Matthieu Ocampo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Upland's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four matches. As for Rancho Mirage, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upland will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Chino at 6:00 p.m. on December 30th. Upland will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. As for Rancho Mirage, they will take on Ayala in a tournament on Thursday.
