Ferndale and Lamphere are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Ferndale Eagles will take on the Lamphere Rams in a tournament on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Ferndale not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 10, 2024. They blew past Center Line, posting a 75-31 victory. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Panthers are ranked 661st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lamphere can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They blew past University 48-20.

Ferndale's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Lamphere, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.

Ferndale took their win against Lamphere when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 48-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ferndale since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
