Basketball Game Preview: Tyrone Bobcats vs. Arnett Wildcats

Tyrone hasn't had much luck against Arnett recently, but that could start to change on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Tyrone Bobcats duke it out with the Arnett Wildcats at 6:30 p.m.

Tyrone is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since December 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 50-11 defeat at the hands of Texhoma. The contest marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Arnett entered their tilt with Laverne on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tigers 73-37. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Arnett's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Tyrone, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Tyrone was dealt a bruising 78-33 loss at the hands of Arnett in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Tyrone avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
