The biggest upset of the week belonged to Platte Canyon, who defeated 146th ranked Platte Canyon, 34-7. Tanner Matoba ran for 114 yards in the win.

Adding to the longest winning streak in 1A Metro this week, Jefferson beat Denver Christian 49-0,. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.

Jefferson's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Cameron Washburn threw for 202 and 2 touchdowns and Lawrence Salazar had 73 yards receiving. On the ground Jovanni Lucero chipped in 113 yards. Lucero helped Jefferson's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 79 yards.

Anthony Rankin's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver.
