St. Joseph strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Cedar Creek Pirates by a score of 7-3. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

The team relied heavily on Alaina Dorsey, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kensie Giovinazzi, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

St. Joseph's record is now 9-0. As for Cedar Creek, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Coming up, St. Joseph will take on Egg Harbor Township at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cedar Creek, they will face off against Vineland at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Fighting Clan have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
