Softball Recap: McMinn Central Chargers vs. Sequoyah Chiefs
McMinn Central had lost five straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 10-12 to make it six. They came up short against the Sequoyah Chiefs, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 back in March.

McMinn Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Thompson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Thompson has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
