Soccer Recap: West Carteret Takes a Loss

West Carteret and Southeast Alamance squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but West Carteret had to settle for second. They lost 4-0 to the Stallions. While losing is never fun, West Carteret can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 268th, while Southeast Alamance are ranked 126th).

West Carteret's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-2. As for Southeast Alamance, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-6-2.

As of now, neither West Carteret nor the Stallions have any future games scheduled.
