Soccer Recap: South Davidson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Davidson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls. The result was an unpleasant reminder to South Davidson of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2021.

Their goal came courtesy of Jayden Bustos Benitez, who's now up to four this season.

South Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for South Stanly, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, South Davidson will venture away from home to challenge Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Stanly will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' contest: after the Wildcats face off against North Stanly, they'll take on South Stanly again at 6:00 p.m. on September 8.
