Volleyball Recap: Fall Creek Takes a Loss

Fall Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Turtle Lake Lakers. The Crickets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lakers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Fall Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 20-16. As for Turtle Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Fall Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Durand-Arkansaw on the 4th. As for Turtle Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against McDonell Central on the 4th.
