Volleyball Recap: Wessington Springs Comes Up Short

Wessington Springs lost against Tripp-Delmont/Armour on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nighthawks. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11.

Kaitlyn Braun paced Wessington Springs' offense, picking up four kills. Braun got some help from Logan Mohling and her nine assists. Kwestynn Heim controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Wessington Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Tripp-Delmont/Armour, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Wessington Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against St. Mary on the 27th. As for Tripp-Delmont/Armour, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against West Central on the 27th.
