Marshall has gone a perfect 10-0 against Coldwater recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Redhawks will welcome the Cardinals at 6:45 p.m. The game will give Marshall their first taste of in-conference action this season.

Marshall came up short against Vicksburg on Monday, falling 5-2. Marshall have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Coldwater kept a clean sheet against Sturgis on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans. Coldwater haven't had any issues with Sturgis recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Coldwater, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Marshall took their victory against Coldwater in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Redhawks repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
