Basketball Recap: Midtown Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Mylik Benoit and Trent Bockman

The Midtown Knights didn't have quite enough to beat the Dunwoody Wildcats on Saturday and fell 62-59. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly three points.

Midtown's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Trent Bockman, who shot 63% from the field en route to 18 points, and Mylik Benoit, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Presely, who posted eight points.

Midtown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Midtown is headed away from home for the first time to take on St. Pius X Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dunwoody, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Cambridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
