Lemon Bay had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Seminole Warhawks on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Manta Rays as they're now sitting on six straight.

Lemon Bay took Seminole into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-20, 25-17, 20-25, 15-10.

Lemon Bay can attribute much of their success to Natalie Googins, who had 12 digs and five assists. That's the most assists Googins has posted over her last six matchups.

Lemon Bay's victory bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Seminole, they moved to 17-10 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-match winning streak.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Lemon Bay and North Broward Prep will shake off the rust and duke it out at 1:00 p.m. on November 7. Seminole does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
