Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Catasauqua). They blew past the Moravian Academy Lions 12-2 on Thursday. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Catasauqua got a great performance from Alex Bolmer as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Lynkan Moore was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cody Roth, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Catasauqua always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive contests.

Catasauqua's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-13. As for Moravian Academy, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-14.
