Baseball Game Preview: Menomonee Falls Phoenix vs. St. Thomas More Cavaliers

The Menomonee Falls Phoenix will square off against the St. Thomas More Cavaliers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Menomonee Falls will be strutting in after a victory while St. Thomas More will be coming in after a loss.

While Menomonee Falls' win against Waukesha North wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Phoenix skirted past the Northstars 5-4. The victory was nothing new for the Phoenix as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, St. Thomas More unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 11-7 to St. Joseph. Cavaliers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Lancers since on Thursday.

Brayden Alivo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Andrew Dodge, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

St. Thomas More's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Menomonee Falls, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
