Volleyball Recap: Chickasha Comes Up Short

Chickasha lost against Duncan back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fighting Chicks fell 2-0 to the Demons.

Avariona Sexton paced Chickasha's offense, picking up four kills. Sexton got some help from Zoee Jones and her ten assists. Jones was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Chickasha's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Duncan, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Chickasha has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Putnam City on the 16th. As for Duncan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Elgin on the 18th.
