After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kaiser, Jurupa Hills was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Arroyo Valley Hawks, posting a 50-8 victory. The contest marked the Spartans' most dominant win of the season.

Jurupa Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emelie Castrejon led the charge by throwing for 340 yards and eight TDs. Those eight passing touchdowns gave Castrejon a new career-high. Jaylene Murillo was in the mix as well, providing Jurupa Hills with two touchdowns.
