Soccer Recap: Patriot Comes Up Short

Patriot came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-0 to the Osbourn Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Osbourn this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Patriot's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Osbourn, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patriot will square off against Briar Woods at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Osbourn, they will face off against Gainesville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
