Volleyball Recap: Aniguiin Takes a Loss

Aniguiin entered their contest against Shishmaref on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Northern Lights. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since October 19, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-21, 25-13.

Aniguiin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Shishmaref, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Aniguiin and Shishmaref will both be playing Brevig Mission the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Huskies at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Northern Lights will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
