Softball Recap: Stayton Gets the Win

Stayton won against Sweet Home on Sunday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Eagles beat the Huskies by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-1. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won three in a row.

Stayton's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Sweet Home, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

As for Sweet Home, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Philomath at 5:00 p.m. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
