Basketball Preview: Hobgood Charter Raiders vs. Ocracoke Dolphins
The Hobgood Charter Raiders will head out on the road to square off against the Ocracoke Dolphins at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hobgood Charter's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so the Dolphins' offense will have their work cut out for them.

Despite the loss, Ocracoke saw an underclassman step up: Jami Martinez scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Martinez has scored all season.
Hobgood Charter's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-7. As for Ocracoke, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Hobgood Charter against the Dolphins when the teams last played last Thursday as the squad secured a 48-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hobgood Charter since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
