Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nevada). They walked away with a 73-62 victory over the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks on Tuesday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Roosters/Chicks are ranked 298th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Nevada pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points over those games. As for Pleasant Hill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.

Nevada wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-59 victory against East Newton on the 14th. Pleasant Hill has also already played their next match (against Clinton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
