Baseball Recap: Carlynton Comes Up Short

Carlynton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on Tuesday.

Carlynton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Hart, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Carlynton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Looking ahead, Carlynton is taking a road trip to challenge Keystone Oaks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, they will be playing at home against Brentwood at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
