Softball Preview: Lumberton Pirates vs. Cape Fear Colts

On the hitting side, Cape Fear's win was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Allie Dawson, who went 2-for-3 with a stolen base.

Lumberton's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Cape Fear, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
