Football Recap: Campbell County Takes a Loss

Campbell County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 38-21 to the Simon Kenton Pioneers. The Camels were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pioneers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Although Campbell County took the loss, they still got scores from Gavin Richardson, Cade Anthrop, and Cooper Lairson.

Campbell County's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Simon Kenton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Campbell County will challenge rival Great Crossing at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Simon Kenton is set to take on their familiar foe Ryle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
