Basketball Recap: Halls Comes Up Short

Halls lost against Powell back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Halls Red Devils took a blow against the Powell Panthers, falling 70-35. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Panthers are ranked 79th).

Halls dropped their record down to 3-22 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Powell, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-11.

As of now, neither Halls nor Powell have any future games scheduled.
