Volleyball Recap: Hopewell-Loudon Takes a Loss

Hopewell-Loudon lost against Mohawk back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Chieftains came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-1, 25-15, 25-8.

Hopewell-Loudon's offense was headlined by Savanna Cook and Araceli Velasquez, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Alexis Fedele and her seven assists.

Hopewell-Loudon's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Mohawk, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

Hopewell-Loudon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mohawk, they will welcome Old Fort at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
