Recap: Loveland Red Wolves vs. Erie Tigers
The Loveland Red Wolves can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Erie out 63-60. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Loveland has posted since December 14, 2023.
Ryder Eastin was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Trey Olsen was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.
Despite the loss, Erie still got an impressive performance from Lucas Lee, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Haan, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Loveland's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-9. As for Erie, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8.
Loveland will be playing at home against the Thunderhawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Prairie View is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses. As for Erie, they will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
