Volleyball Recap: Meade County Takes a Loss

Meade County saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Tates Creek Commodores by a score of 2-1.

Allie Glover paced Meade County's offense, picking up eight kills. Glover got some help from Ava Frank and her 17 assists. Emily Jewell controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Meade County's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Tates Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Meade County has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Henderson County on the 30th. As for Tates Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Warren East on the 30th.
