Soccer Game Preview: Grace Christian vs. Caldwell Academy

The Grace Christian Crusaders are taking a road trip to face off against the Caldwell Academy Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Grace Christian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals on Monday, they were much more limited against DASH on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the United. The defeat continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the United: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Caldwell Academy took on The O'Neal School on Monday. Everything went Caldwell Academy's way against The O'Neal School as Caldwell Academy made off with a 3-0 victory. Give the Eagles' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Kaylie Kocher was the driving force of Caldwell Academy's attack as she scored all three of Caldwell Academy's goals, bringing her season total up to ten goals.

Caldwell Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three games. As for Grace Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
