Baseball Recap: Cherokee Triumphs

Cherokee won the last time they faced North Cobb and things went their way on Saturday too. The Chiefs skirted past the Warriors 5-3. That's two games straight that the Chiefs have won by exactly two runs.

The victory made it two in a row for Cherokee and bumps their season record up to 4-2. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for North Cobb, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Coming up, Cherokee will take on Volunteer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Chiefs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for North Cobb, they are taking a road trip to challenge Marietta at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
