Volleyball Recap: St. Monica Comes Up Short

St. Monica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Crossroads Roadrunners. If the Mariners were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Roadrunners when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Monica may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

St. Monica's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Crossroads, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, St. Monica will take on St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crossroads, they will welcome Wildwood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
