Soccer Recap: South Sumter Comes Up Short

South Sumter lost against The Villages Charter back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Raiders lost 4-1 to the Buffalo. South Sumter were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Stive Perea, who's now up to two this season.

South Sumter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

South Sumter didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-1 loss against Eustis on the 7th. As for The Villages Charter, they will venture away from home to take on Springstead at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
