Soccer Game Preview: St. Helena vs. Roseland University Prep

The St. Helena Saints will head out on the road to take on the Roseland University Prep Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Helena's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

St. Helena is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Cloverdale on Thursday. The Saints fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2025, Roseland University Prep was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. They and Santa Rosa finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if John Flores hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Roseland University Prep's goal came courtesy of Adan Campos, who's now up to two this season.

Roseland University Prep's draw gives them a new season record of 2-3-6. As for St. Helena, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

St. Helena suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Roseland University Prep in their previous meeting back in February of 2025. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Saints were down 6-0.
