Volleyball Recap: Turtle Lake Comes Up Short

Turtle Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Superior Spartans.

Charli Molls paced Turtle Lake's offense, picking up three kills. Molls got some help from Lacey Popenhagen and her nine assists. Popenhagen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Turtle Lake's loss dropped their record down to 3-4. As for Superior, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.

Turtle Lake has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lakeland on the 30th. As for Superior, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Baldwin-Woodville on the 30th.
