Baseball Recap: Colville Victorious

Medical Lake typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Colville proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 8-5. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 19th, but that streak is no more.

Jet Bateman was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ethan Redberg, who went 2-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

The victory got Colville back to even at 11-11. As for Medical Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

As of now, neither Colville nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
