Football Recap: Hominy Takes Down Regent Prep in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Hominy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-7 win over Regent Prep. The Bucks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Hominy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.8 points on average over those games. As for Regent Prep, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Coming up, Hominy will challenge Thomas-Fay-Custer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Terriers' defense has only allowed 9.1 points per game this season, so the Bucks' offense will have their work cut out for them. Regent Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
