Baseball Recap: UMS-Wright Prep Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact UMS-Wright Prep can now relate to. They fell 5-1 to the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints on Friday. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

UMS-Wright Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 24-8. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

St. Paul's Episcopal will challenge Elmore County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. UMS-Wright Prep will be paying especially close attention to the Saints' matchup: after the Saints face off against UMS-Wright Prep, they'll take on UMS-Wright Prep again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
