Softball Game Preview: Brown Deer Falcons vs. Racine Horlick Rebels

The Brown Deer Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Racine Horlick Rebels at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Brown Deer is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Brown Deer came up short against South Milwaukee two weeks ago, falling 16-1. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Racine Horlick's offense. They lost 20-0 to Oak Creek on Tuesday. The Rebels have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Racine Horlick saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn Winkler, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Winkler's first of the season.

Racine Horlick's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Brown Deer, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
