On Tuesday, Ursuline faced Archbishop Hoban in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Ursuline Fighting Irish took a 70-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Archbishop Hoban Knights. The Fighting Irish's defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Archbishop Hoban got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was John Johnson out in front who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. The dominant performance gave Johnson a new career-high in rebounds. Sam Greer was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 12 points along with seven assists and six boards.

Ursuline's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Archbishop Hoban, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

Ursuline is taking a road trip to face off against Howland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
