Softball Recap: Attleboro Comes Up Short

If Attleboro was feeling good fresh off their 14-0 takedown of Sharon on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bombardiers came up short against the King Philip Regional Warriors on Wednesday, falling 10-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 on May 4th.

Attleboro saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lola Ronayne, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Attleboro's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for King Philip Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Attleboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for King Philip Regional, they will face off against Bridgewater-Raynham at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
