Volleyball Recap: Geraldine Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Geraldine waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Pisgah Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 two weeks ago.

Lana Rowell paced Geraldine's offense, picking up 12 kills. Rowell got some help from Jessie Richey and her 24 assists. Richey also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kennedy Mayfield, each putting up four.

Geraldine's win bumped their record up to 15-23. As for Pisgah, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

Looking ahead, Geraldine will venture away from home to square off against Holly Pond at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Pisgah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
