Soccer Recap: Rutherford Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rutherford can now relate to. They came up short against the Florida State University High School Seminoles on Tuesday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 490th, while the Seminoles are ranked 120th).

Rutherford has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Florida State University High School, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3-3.

Rutherford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Florida State University High School has also already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against North Bay Haven Academy on the 30th.
