Basketball Recap: Kardiay Tyler's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Barberton over Revere

Barberton lost against Revere back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Barberton Magics fell to the Revere Minutemen 50-45. The Magics have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Barberton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kardiay Tyler, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Tyler is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least five every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Joey Ondo, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards.

Barberton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Revere, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

Barberton has already played their next match, a 64-62 victory against Copley on the 17th. As for Revere, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-54 win against Highland on the 17th.
