Volleyball Recap: Maine West Takes a Loss

Maine West lost against Glenbrook South back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-6.

Leading Glenbrook South to victory were Patty Stepek and Annie Rosinski. Stepek had five digs and five aces, while Rosinski had three digs and three aces. Those five digs gave Stepek a new career-high.

Maine West's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Glenbrook South, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Maine West has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Niles West on the 4th. As for Glenbrook South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Saint Ignatius College Prep on the 4th.
