Bryce Underwood headlines five quarterbacks among 32 five-star selections.

247Sports released its updated player rankings Wednesday for the Class of 2025, expanding from 16 5-star prospects to 32. Bryce Underwood of Belleville (Mich.) remains the top-rated prospect and has put together an impressive resume as he heads into his senior season. The LSU pledge has been a first team choice on the MaxPreps Freshman, Sophomore and Junior All-America teams over the last three years.

Underwood is 40-2 as a starter at Belleville and led the program to Division 1 state titles in 2021 and 2022. He has thrown for 8,979 yards and 117 touchdowns during his career and is 1,637 yards away from breaking Jason Fracassa's state record for career passing yards. He needs eight touchdowns to surpass Mason Gee-Montgomery's career record of 124 passing TDs.

Tavien St. Clair of Bellefontaine (Ohio) moved up four spots and is the second-rated player overall. The five-star quarterback committed to Ohio State last June. Trey McNutt of Shaker Heights (Ohio) was the only other prospect from the Buckeye State among the 32 five-stars. He is the top-rated safety in the Class of 2025 and 23rd overall.

Georgia and Texas tied for the most five-stars with seven each. Elijah Griffin, Zayden Walker and Julian Lewis headline the players from the Peach State.

Devin Sanchez, Dakorien Moore, Jonah Williams and Kaliq Lockett were some of the notable five-stars from the Lone Star State.

In total, 14 states had at least one five-star. Alabama and Florida tied for the third most with three each. Kansas and Ohio both had two while California, Illinois, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, Tennessee and Utah all had one.

Husan Longstreet of Centennial (Corona, Calif.) and George MacIntyre of Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, Tenn.) join Underwood, St. Clair and Lewis as quarterbacks featured on the initial list of the 32 five-star selections. Longstreet recently committed to Texas A&M while MacIntyre chose Tennessee.

Wide receivers had the most five-stars by position with six. Caleb Cunningham, Jaime Ffrench, Derek Meadows and Jerome Myles join Moore and Lockett.

Myles took the biggest jump as he went from 192nd overall to No. 31. He was the lone selection from Utah. The Corner Canyon (Draper) standout battled through injuries during his junior season but came back in the playoffs and made a huge impact for the defending Class 6A state champs. The 2025 Ole Miss commit had five receptions for 122 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-27 win over Skyridge (Lehi) in the state championship game.
