The Winters Warriors will face off against the Williams Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Winters has seven straight wins, Williams has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Winters hadn't beaten Pierce on the road since October 19, 2018 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Warriors blew past the Bears 31-10. Considering the Warriors have won seven matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lane Brown had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 203 yards and two TDs while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also throwing for 66 yards and one touchdown. Those 203 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was EJ Cruz, who gained 78 total yards and two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Winters was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 313 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 166 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.
