Baseball Game Preview: Bentonville West Wolverines vs. Fayetteville Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Bentonville West will face off against Fayetteville. The Wolverines will square off against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bentonville West came out on top against Fayetteville on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Wolverines skirted past the Bulldogs 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wolverines have posted since April 7th.

Jonathan Veira was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Bentonville West's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14. As for Fayetteville, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-5.
